About the Program:
The Commonwealth Distance Learning program, one of the initiatives under the Commonwealth Scholarships Commission, aims to support individuals in acquiring skills vital for sustainable development, which might not be accessible in their home countries.
Eligibility Criteria:
- To qualify for the Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of or have refugee status in an eligible Commonwealth country or be a British Protected Person.
- Be a permanent resident in a developing Commonwealth country.
- Hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) standard. Exceptions may be made based on relevant experience.
- Demonstrate financial need.

The scholarship covers tuition fees and study grants, excluding concurrent scholarships, awards, or bursaries.
Selection Process:
Each UK university participating in the program will conduct its own recruitment process. Selected applicants will be forwarded to the CSC by early May 2024 for confirmation of eligibility. Results will be communicated to applicants by July 2024.

Applications for the 2024/25 academic year are open until 28 March 2024, 16:00 GMT. Apply through the CSC’s online application system. Ensure admission to an approved Master’s course at a participating UK university.
